Sailing Series

Rolling waves, rushing wind, and water spray all give my brushes a lot to play with. This series flows directly out of the Momentum work. I’m always chasing motion and dynamic energy. I've poured everything I have into these boat paintings. Fiery sunsets, dramatic twists and turns, the push for adventure and glory, or for a moment of stillness in a storm. Through the tugging of expressive marks against the forces of nature, these paintings move and breathe.
